Tour of Geertruidenberg, Ulvenhout and Breda

From the Biesbosch information centre you cycle via the fortified town of Geertruidenberg and the lovely old Oosterhout to Dorst. You will discover Boswachterij Dorst, a nature reserve that mainly consists of Scots pines that were planted on the heath at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Further on you cycle a bit through the Markdal, an open meadow area where you regularly cycle right along the river Mark. You will also pass Kasteel Bouvigne, a centuries-old hunting lodge. Take a break at De Kogelvanger! Then you cycle into Breda where you can view the Grote Kerk, the Castle of Breda and the Begijnhof. You also cycle past Het Huis van Brecht, which dates from the fourteenth century. A beautiful spot on the historic Cingelstraat. Via the Markkanaal you cycle back to your starting point.
