Description

Your route starts at De Kogelvanger. After a cup of coffee, put on your walking shoes. From the Mastbos you cross the Markdal to the Ulvenhoutse Bos. You walk straight through Ulvenhout, the village is beautifully situated on the edge of the Mark. The church tower stands proudly above it all. You walk a bit through the Ulvenhoutse Bos. In this old forest you will find a rich flora, such as sessile oaks and beech trees. On the way back you will encounter the Mark again. The Markdal is located south of Breda and runs to the border with Belgium. This open meadow area is intersected by the Mark (Dintel) river. The Mastbos owes its name to the Scots pines that grow there. The old cultural forest is a wonderful place for a walk.
