Tour of Dinkeldal at the German border

In Twente you can go for old-fashioned peace and space. This route leads you through beautiful Twente landscapes full of hedgerows, quiet forests, grasslands and moraines. You will be amazed while cycling. The cycle tour takes you through the beautiful nature reserves of Lutterzand and Dinkeldal. The steep banks along the Dinkel stream serve as a nesting place for the sand martin, but the kingfisher and the large yellow wagtail also whistle the highest song in the Lutterzand. Stop off in De Lutte for a cup of coffee or a bite to eat at Eetcafé Plexat/Steaks & Bites! Just after Denekamp you drive straight across the German border. In addition to water, you will also see tufts of heather here, it is a beautifully varied area!
