Tour of Delft and Maassluis

Your route starts at Boer Pait / Boerderij Hoogendonk. Via Maasdijk you cycle to the beautiful old village of Schipluiden, along the lake Het Kraaiennest. Put your bike aside in the nice old Delft to experience the atmosphere! Then you cycle through the Abtswoudse Bos, a polder area with trees, shrubs, ditches, puddles and small ponds. You can enjoy cycling here. Centrally located in the forest is the art project 'Mother Earth', a hill in the shape of a woman's body. At the highest point you have a beautiful view over the forest, the polder and the nearby cities. Maassluis became world famous in the nineteenth century because of a towage company. The Municipal Museum gives you a nice picture of the interesting history of the port town.
