Tour of Gorp and Rovert via Hilvarenbeek

Your route starts at Taverne In de Brouwerij. You cycle along the edge of the Roovertsche Heide to the Belgian border. From here you follow the Roovertsche Leij, a stream that meanders through a beautiful nature reserve. You cycle through the authentic Gorp en Roovert estate with its dense forests: beech and oak, with plantings of conifers here and there. In Gorp you will see a beautiful monumental hunting lodge from 1870, which is called 'het Kasteeltje'. Just below Goirle you pass the Bankven, an idyllic spot. You cycle back past the beautiful Vrijthof of Hilvarenbeek, a typical example of a Franconian market field. At the end of the route you will return to Taverne In de Brouwerij, where you can enjoy a snack and a drink.
