Tour Wijnandsrade from Hulsberg

Your route starts at Grand Carré Naeve de Paort. Nearby you can dive straight into an unpaved path that runs between the rolling fields of beautiful South Limburg. On sunny days a beautiful play takes place here with sunbeams and shadows. You also have nice views over the undulating fields. You will also discover a beautiful piece of forest: Het Oude Bos (D\\\'r Ouwe Bösj). A little further on you will pass Wijnandsrade Castle, the western part of which dates from the sixteenth century. Between the castle and the centuries-old Stephen's Church you will see the thirteenth-century motte, on which the first version of the castle once stood. In Wijnandsrade itself there are some characteristic Limburg buildings, such as the beautiful half-timbered farms that you see many here. You walk back along the Hulsberger Beemden nature reserve.
