Description
The route starts at Van der Valk Hotel Delft A4. Handy, so you don't have to go into the city by car! The old streets and canals in the city center are a feast for the eyes with their many monumental buildings. For example, you will pass the Oostpoort, the only remaining Delft city gate from around 1400. The fourteenth-century Nieuwe Kerk with the mausoleum of William of Orange is of course a well-known attraction. Pick one of the museums you pass, such as Stedelijk Museum Het Prinsenhof. Towards the end of the route you will pass a few nice places to take a break. You cycle back via the picturesque village of't Woudt. You will see centuries-old houses and farms, as well as the village church.
