Twente Wine Route

Wijngaard de Mandjesberg is the home of Eskerwijn, a vineyard on the Esker van Twente. The vineyard is located on a sloping terrain, the Mandjesberg. The name comes from the high gravel content, caused by an Esker. Wijngaard de Wolfshaar is named after the Wolfshaarsweg that runs along the vineyard. Two varieties of grapes are grown at Wijngaard Adebaer. The name is an old Saxon name for stork and means 'He who brings good luck'.
