Along the Maas to Roermond

Where the Roer flows into the Maas is a beautiful city with a rich past: Roermond. You will come across some nice sights during your trip. In Beesel you can see the Grauwe bear, a sawmill that originally stood in Zaandam. Three kilometers further you will pass Kasteel Nieuwenbroek. Near Swalmen, hidden between the trees in the grass on the banks of the meandering Swalm, you see a ruined donjon. The start and end point of this cycle route is located at this Landal De Lommerbergen. Here you can park your car for free. We also recommend that you turn your cycling trip into a weekend and book a stay at the family park. Enjoy a drink on the terrace of the Grand Café, there is plenty to do to relax after your bike ride.
