START: At the end of the harbor, cross the'Bestevaar\\\' (Knpt 77) and go LEFT towards Knpt 76.

This route takes you through the beautiful Eem Valley. Enjoy a beautiful view of the river that meanders quietly through the landscape with meadows and elongated ditches on either side. The former sea coast area is still quite wet and that has a special attraction for all kinds of birds. In short, there is plenty to see here.

After Knpt 1 you pass TOP Theetuin Eemnes and cycle along the Eemdijk through the Eem Valley. You can then cross the river in Eemdijk with the ferry (EUR1).

Along the way you will see a reconstruction of a pile dike, which is the old dike construction. This construction turned out to be unable to withstand the shipworms that thrive in salt water.

Then you cycle further to Spakenburg (Knpt 3). Here you can take a boat trip on the Eemmeer. The route then takes you over open paths and quiet roads back to Theetuin Eemnes.

From Knpt 24 you can return to the Theetuin Knpt 2 (and continue with 1, 75, 76 and 77).

On the Tafelbergheide (Knpt 80) you will find a wealth of special flowers and herbs. The heath is about 200,000 years old and the height differences were already formed during the Ice Age. Cycling through the rolling area you have a beautiful view of the clay pits, which were created when the former residents took clay from the heath to build their farms.
