You start and end at Orangerie Mattemburgh. The Orangerie was originally a greenhouse in which unique tub plants used to hibernate. The orangery is located on the beautiful Landgoed Mattemburg. Mattemburgh is counted among the five best-preserved style gardens in our country. At Orangerie Mattemburgh you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee with a lunch of forgotten vegetables, grown on the estate. Additional special! Via Bergen op Zoom you cycle to Halsteren and Tholen. After Tholen you cycle over the Oesterdam, the dam that connects Tholen with South Beveland. With a length of 10.5 kilometers, the dam is the longest dam of the Delta Works. The dam was built to divide the Zeeland and South Holland waters into compartments for freshwater management and shipping. Via Hoogerheide you cycle back to the estate.
