By bike through rural Central Limburg

In Central Limburg you can cycle carefree through the green and quiet rural area. You will also pass through the Leudal, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Limburg.

Central Limburg
Just outside Roggel you will pass the St. Petrus, a flour mill from 1901. In rural Central Limburg it is wonderful to make miles through a patchwork of farmland and stream valleys. You will also pass through some nature reserves, such as the Asbroekerheide, a wonderfully quiet coniferous forest.

Leudal
There are some characteristic centuries-old farms on your route, such as in the Kerkstraat in Leveroy. The Saint Barbara Church in this village dates from 1949, its predecessor was blown up by the German army in 1944. The Leudal is intersected by the Tungelroyse Beek, locally called the Leubeek. You will find an alternation of wet and dry forests. And silence! The route ends at Recreatiepark de Leistert where you can continue to enjoy your carefree holiday.
