With this route you will discover Helmond and some beautiful nature reserves. From Nuenen you drive through the countryside to the Eindhoven Canal. This leafy waterway was completed in 1846 and connects the center of Eindhoven with the Zuid-Willemsvaart. Just before junction 34 you cycle through the Groot Goor: a nature reserve with reed beds, meadows, an apple orchard and an old forest area. Further on, there are two more nature reserves on your route: the Brouwhuissche Heide and the Bakelse Bos. You mainly drive here between coniferous trees. At the Markt in Helmond you can see some beautiful monuments, such as the White House with the Luts from 1594. Helmond Castle is a striking moated castle that originally dates from the fourteenth century. You drive through the Papenvoortse Heide back to Parkhotel & Brasserie Auberge Vincent.
