A beautiful tour through the Loonse and Drunense Duinen

De Brand It is wonderful to cycle along the edge of the woods. On one side you smell the fresh conifers, on the other side you look out over meadows and fields. At junction 36 you pass the popular cafe-restaurant Bosch en Duin. A nice place for a stopover. Further on is De Brand. This small-scale landscape with its centuries-old deciduous forests and small flower-filled meadows offers you a glimpse into the past.

Picturesque Giersbergen Get off in Giersbergen to admire the old long-facade farms. A little later you cycle again under the cool canopy of the forests. At cafe-restaurant De Roestelberg you can enjoy a well-deserved refreshment. An ideal moment to walk into the sand drifts to experience that real dune feeling of the Loonse and Drunense Duinen.
