Tour of Ede, Veenendaal and Wageningen

You will soon cycle from the forest into the Edese Heide. During the flowering season it seems as if you are looking out over a purple sea. When you drive back into the forest, it is as if you are swallowed up by the silence. At Renkum you drive through an ancient stream valley. Near Wageningen you pass L51, a listening point from the Liberation Route where you learn about the food transports that started after the Hunger Winter as a result of negotiations between the German occupiers and Allies. Just before Rhenen you drive up the Grebbeberg. Here you have a beautiful view over the river valley. A wonderful place to take a break. After cycling through the woods, you enter the Gelderse Vallei. Get off in Renswoude at Bike Totaal Van Wijk Fietsen.
