Tour of nature and culture around Venlo

First you cycle a bit through Koelbroek, a nature reserve that was created from a former Maas arm. Around junction 40 you cycle through the park of the Floriade 2012. Here you will pass the Innovatoren, among other things. This 70-metre-high office colossus formed the entrance to the Floriade. Further on you come through the Lovendaalse Bossen and Kaldenbroek, an old Maas arm where you now cycle between poplars and damp grasslands. Just before Grubbenvorst you see the Huis De Steeg, a mansion from 1750. On the other side of the Maas you make a crossing through the Maasduinen National Park, after which you enjoy a meal at Jagersrust. Finally you visit the historic heart of Venlo. Get off at the renovated Maasboulevard to enjoy the special atmosphere.
