Mergelland Bicycle Route South Loop

The Mergellandroute meanders right through the hills of South Limburg. The total cycle route is over 155 km long, but you can also opt for a shorter route. This southern loop of approximately 64 km is perfect for a day trip. Then choose the e-bike, because you have to climb and descend quite a bit along the way. Highlights along the way are of course the Drielandenpunt, stately castles and endless half-timbered houses with, of course, the beautiful views of the rolling hills in the background. In Vijlen you will discover the St. Martinus vineyard , which has been proclaimed'Best Vineyard in the Netherlands several times and also the famous line of millions needs no further explanation.

The junction system makes it easy to find your way. You can park and start at the parking lot at Mosaqua in Gulpen.
