Along the South Limburg basilicas - Sittard & Susteren

South Limburg has a rich religious history. You don't have to search long for religious heritage. Extra special are the basilicas: churches that have been given an honorary title because of their special past or function.

This pilgrimage cycle tour takes you past the Basilicas of Sittard and Susteren and other religious heritage, such as the Old Salvius Church and the special Clemens Domain. During the route you will also cycle through the German municipality of Selfkant, where you can visit the St. Nicholas Church. Are the doors of the basilicas or church closed? No worries!
