Day 5 of 5, The Maas Route from Maasbommel to Boxmeer . Cycled 65 km.
The day started with a good breakfast in a large Trekkershut at the mini campsite Moleneind in Maasbommel. It was gray and drizzling a bit. 10.05 am ferry from Megen to Appeltern Drinking coffee in the fortified town of Ravenstein, while letting the rain shower pass. After that it remained dry and it became warmer and sunnier. Today was also a very nice route where we mainly cycled on/over the dike and occasionally crossed the Maas with some ferries. We ended the cycling week on the terrace of Het kantonrechter in Boxmeer.
Next time we will continue from Boxmeer
