From Eethen approach route to the Maas route: Eethen-59-58-60-97-37-81

It is a gray, cloudy, windy day with a drizzle that occasionally stops. That shouldn't spoil the fun with good rain clothing and poncho. We cycle from Eethen via Drongelen, Genderen, Heesbeen to the fortified town of Heusden. A nice town with beautiful signs and an old bakery that makes the best sausage rolls in North Brabant. Then via Hedikhuisen and Bokhoven to Den Bosch where friends await us with Bossche bollen and coffee. After this pleasant stop we continue our way. At junction 98 we say goodbye to Marian who is moving her daughter tomorrow.

We have a late lunch at the bakery in Lith. We hear that our ferry in Maasbommel is not running and therefore take the Lith-Alphen ferry. Because of this we miss the Lithoijensedijk. At 5 p.m. we arrive at the Moleneind campsite in Maasbommel, where we also have a Friends on the Bike package in a Trekker's hut. After an invigorating shower we eat at Moeke Mooren, cycling a bit further.
