Description
Day 2 of 5: From Oostvoorne to Dordrecht. with 4 friends. After a delicious, extensive and cozy breakfast with the warm and friendly Leonie in Oostvoorne, we cycle 72 km from Oostvoorne to Dordrecht. A beautiful route along the Maas, through forests, full of sun, shade, dry all day despite the predicted rain.
The Netherlands is so beautiful and varied in landscape; beautiful fields, beautiful skies with clouds, nice (old Dutch) (fortress) towns. Every now and then we had to cycle back because we had missed a sign due to chatting so much with each other. We found some nice clothes in Brielle. A lovely welcome in Dordrecht by the very helpful and friendly Ina and Arie from Vrienden op de Fiets.
