Description
Varied route on semi-paved, narrow cycle paths. The first part goes through an alternating forest-meadow landscape between Geldrop and Heeze and ends at the DeZwaan pub, where they not only have an extensive beer menu, but where small dishes or coffee can also be purchased. The first part is about an hour.
After De Zwaan you enter the entrance to Heeze Castle. Just before the castle, turn left, end right and then via the Hetbertusbossen to the Grote Strabrechtse Heide. There you make a round on somewhat wider paths that are also semi-paved, after which you return to Geldrop via Mierlo on an asphalt path. The 2nd part of the route also takes about an hour.
Are you coming by car; The starting and ending point is in a residential area where you can park for free and without any problems.
