This walking route introduces you to Landgoed Het Lankheet near Haaksbergen, where you can experience the changes in the countryside up close. The history of this estate goes back 800 years, but they also look forward here - well into the 21st century. Various contemporary landscape projects can be seen in the field of water purification, energy generation, multifunctional climate forests, timber cultivation, youth education and youth care, art and theatre. There is a water park and at the timber yard on the Botterkolk, pine and deciduous wood is watered, sawn, dried and processed in a traditional way. Jumping over the water from one large stone to the next, through tunnels, over bridges, past works of art and ditches - they can stroll through the ancient forest of Landgoed Het Lankheet.
