You slowly enter a lake area and cycle between the large Fluessen to the Sanmar and the Gaastmeer. Between nodes 33 and 32 you should definitely visit Sandfirden, ydillic as it is. Arriving in Oudega, it may be time to enjoy a terrace, ice cream, pizza or a cold drink, a wonderful water sports village, as Friesland knows it. Via Oudega you continue the route along the banks of the Oudegaaster Bokken, beautiful! Passing under the railway line you enter De Rijp, an agricultural and nature reserve, adjacent to the small village of Greonterp. Greonterp was Gerard van het Reve's base, he had his life there, wrote his books there. And then Blauwhuis, the tower looms up and shows the greatness of the Catholic community in this village.
