Everything reflects a rich history during this special bike tour. You depart from Panningen with its rare Church of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows in the old center. The church was built in 1930 and stylistically exhibits elements of Neo-Gothic architecture. You cycle through the beautiful Limburg landscape to Heibloem, which is surrounded by the nature reserve"De Waterbloem\\\". From here you can reach Heythuysen with several catering establishments for a drink or a tasty lunch. After Heythuysen you pass the archaeological burial mounds of Busjop.

You continue the route through the Leudal nature reserve, where there is an extensive cemetery from the Late Bronze Age / Early Iron Age (1100-800 BC). Overgrown by trees and brambles, the hills had disappeared from view for a long time, but in 2010 Staatsbosbeheer recovered and restored seventeen burial mounds. Via Haelen, a beautiful route along the Maas bank takes you to Kessel and then to Helden. Here you can visit the Peel & Maas Regional Museum and then end your tour in Panningen.
