Cycling route Lemelerveld, Luttenberg and Raalte

From Brasserie de Haenehof you will make a tour through the beautiful Salland countryside. First you will cycle through Raalte. You will pass several beautiful monumental buildings here, such as the Basilica of the Holy Cross Exaltation, a neo-Gothic church from 1892. In the countryside you will cycle on car-free roads along meadows and fields. You will also pass several monumental farms and small-scale nature reserves. Lemelerveld was created after the Overijsselse Beetwortelsuiker Fabriek had established itself in 1866 along the then newly constructed Overijsselse Kanaal. In Luttenberg you can get off at junction 29 to view the Lourdes grotto in the park. It dates from 1915. You cycle back to Raalte along the Overijssels Kanaal. After getting off you can enjoy a delicious meal at your leisure on the pleasant terrace at the Haenehof.
