Description
In De Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park you can enjoy forests and hilly heathlands. The height differences and beautiful views in this area make it seem as if you are no longer in the Netherlands! In the authentic hamlet of Beuseberg you will see beautiful old farms. In Holten you can admire the beautiful village church from 1832 with its white plastered tower. As soon as you cycle into Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park, you will notice how quiet it is here. You cycle through fragrant and fresh forests and over the vast heathland. In August and early September you will be enchanted by an endless purple plain. Just below Haarle you pass the white'Palthekasteeltje\\\' with its characteristic square tower, on top of the Sprengenberg.
