Someren war memorials cycling route Wehrmachthuisje

This route takes you past crash sites (places where an airplane crashed during the Second World War) and war memorials in the municipality of Someren.

At every monument you will find a QR code where you can find the information.

Route was made by the Wehrmachthuisje Someren-Heide.

You will also cycle past here (it is difficult to see from the street).

If you want to visit the Wehrmachthuisje, you must register via the website.

This can then be combined with the cycling route.

You will encounter the following monuments:

• Kerkendijk, the Wehrmachthuisje on the left, just after the Someren-Heide info sign on the left. Look to the back between 2 houses, you will see it there.
• Bosrandweg, memorial crash site.
• Vaarsehoefweg, memorial crash site.
• Frank Douchettestraat, monument Frank Douchette.
• Kerkweg, memorial crash site.
• at Sluis 11, along the canal, the Sacred Heart Statue.
