Loenen and its surroundings in Gelderland are ideal for a relaxing walk. First you walk on low-traffic roads through the countryside. While you walk along the fields and fields, you can enjoy the tranquility at your leisure. Or chat with your fellow walkers. After a while you enter Landgoed Ter Horst. This includes a castle that originally dates from 1557. At the end of the eighteenth century it was renovated and it received a neoclassical stone facade with Ionic half-columns.
