Discover De Hoge Veluwe National Park

From Hotel Restaurant De Loenermark you can take a beautiful bike ride across the Veluwe. You ride many kilometers on gently sloping cycle paths through coniferous and deciduous forests. Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh forest air. Along the way you will also pass a number of sights. In Woeste Hoeve, for example, there is an old inn where Napoleon and King William III, among others, once stayed. Here you pass L61, a listening point on the Liberation Route. Further on you cycle through Hoenderloo. At junction 13 you see the well from 1843 that Reverend Otto Heldring had dug for the villagers who were still living in poverty at the time. Finally, you cycle through the Veluwezoom National Park. In 1930 this became the first national park in the Netherlands. Here you can enjoy the peace and views of the heathlands.
