By bike from Zwolle to Dalfsen

This route takes you from Zwolle to Dalfsen, part of the Blauwnet Zwolle-Emmen route. Get to know the bustling center of Zwolle and then exchange the city for the green floodplains along the Zwarte Water river. You can easily cycle to Dalfsen along the river.

Historic Zwolle
You can cycle into the center from Zwolle Station. Here you can visit Museum de Fundatie, among other things.
A little further you cycle past the mill hull of De Hersteller. Just outside the city you pass through the Westerveldse bos, a young nature reserve on the banks of the Zwarte Water. In the ancient hamlet of Langenholte you see some beautiful farms, further on you drive through the forest on the Agnietenberg.

Fight valley
You can get off at De Kas van Kaat, regional and organic products. Here you can enjoy lunch or coffee with homemade cakes in a special environment. Then you drive up the dike along the Overijsselse Vecht. It is wonderful to cycle here, while looking out over the rippling water, reed beds and the wide fields. What a silence! At the end of your route you can go to Grand café Het Oude Station for a snack and a drink.
