Walk De Plank, Ulvend and Noordbeek

This route takes you through the rolling border area around Ulvend and Noorbeek. An environment where you can enjoy a peaceful walk on unpaved paths. First you go south, to the Voerstreek. At border marker 18 you descend further towards Nurop, after which you walk to De Plank. Here you can see, among other things, the St. Rochus Chapel from 1860. The chapel was expanded into a modest church in 1925. Further on you walk through Ulvend, which is on the national border. Here too you will see some well-preserved old farms. You walk along a beautiful path to the protected village view of Noorbeek. Here you will see some monumental farms and the St. Brigida Church, which originally dates from the Middle Ages. You can walk leisurely back to Hotel de Plank between the fields.
