a beautiful tour through the peat colonial area of the Monden in the municipality of Emmen. Between  the dog's back and Westerwolde. A varied landscape of nature and arable farming and livestock. In the six villages that are visited, there are plenty of opportunities for a snack on the way. Enjoy the peace and vast Drentsche countryside against the border of the province of Groningen and Germany. The route has been set out by the six cooperating village associations of Weerdinge, Nieuw-Weerdinge, Roswinkel, Emmer-Compascuum, Emmer-Erfscheidveen and Foxel-scholtenskanaal.
