First a cup of coffee at Family restaurant De Jonge Graaf and then you get on your bike to discover De Kromme Rijnstreek. You will pass Fort Vechten, where the Waterline Museum is located. From afar you can see the corn mill Rijn & Weert, dating from 1882. A little further on is Castle Beverweerd. The exterior of this castle has been restored to the condition in which it was completed around 1850. Castle Sterkenburg is a knight's court town whose history goes back to the thirteenth century. The characteristic residential towers near Langbroek initially functioned as a defense, but later as a status symbol. From afar you can see the picturesque Cothen again. The silhouette of this village is determined by the tower of the Catholic Church and by the windmill Oog in't Zeil.
