Description

Veere is a historic town on the former island of Walcheren. The town is located on the banks of the Veerse Meer and you will find numerous monumental buildings. Get to know the center of Veere and the green, water-rich environment around the town. The center of Veere is definitely worth a visit with its protected cityscape. While walking you can admire all the historic buildings such as the old town hall and the Scottish Houses on the Kaai. You also walk along the green park district Buiten de Veste. This district is full of beautiful villas. Behind the park district is a wooded area where you can enjoy the silence. Molen De Koe is a corn mill on the outskirts of Veere. It is a round mill that was built in 1909.
