Description
Quiet cycling over the heathland of nature reserve De Borkeld, over the countryside of Markelo and Diepenheim.
In Markelo you take a moment of rest at the Twentse Boerin. A coffee corner has been set up in the former farm shop. Traditional farm ice cream is available in the summer months. Here you can meet the cows in the barn.
Diepenheim is a town with five castles. You will cycle past 4 castles, namely Huize Diepenheim, Kasteel Warmelo, Huize Nijenhuis and Kasteel Weldam. Diepenheim is an art town with many galleries.
Along the way are many benches to rest and enjoy the Twentse Coulissen landscape.
