The Holterberg north of the village of Holten is well known among hikers, but the area south of Holten is also worth exploring. Put on your hiking boots and walk along small hamlets in this area.
The Beuseberg
From the cozy village of Holten you can walk into the green surroundings. You walk in the direction of the hamlet of Look and then set course for the hamlet of Beuseberg. The Beuseberg is also the name of a hill in this area. This hill is about 34 meters high and it is part of the Lookerenk, a hilly area near Look. Every year at Easter, an Easter bonfire is lit on the Beuseberg. In addition to hills, you will also find several wooded areas on this route. So you can enjoy varied landscapes while hiking.
