Tour of Het Laer, Besthmenerberg and Beneden Regge

Your walk starts at Camping De Koeksebelt. The Vechtdal consists of all kinds of different landscapes. Narrow paths along vast meadows, fields with hedgerows, sand drifts, estates, rivers, you will find it all here. There is a lookout tower on the 34-meter-high Besthmenerberg that offers you a majestic view of the surroundings. You follow the course of the river Beneden Regge for a while. At Nieuwebrug you cross the bridge and then make your way along the other bank of the river. You will also take the church path that was previously used by the residents of Giethmen to walk to the church in Ommen twice on Sundays. The charming drawbridge over the Regge is an icon. On the way there and back you can enjoy the beautiful Het Laer estate.
