Cycling between the Maas and the German border

After a bite to eat at Mert 5, you cycle over the Market of Beesel. You will see some beautiful monumental paths here. A little later you will cycle into the countryside. A beautiful cycling decor of meadows, fields and the banks of the Maas. You will make a trip to Reuver, a little later you will cycle through that enjoys a protected village view because of its eighteenth-century appearance. At De Witte Stein it is time to get off for a stopover, before you cycle onto the Prinsendijk. This leafy path forms the German-Dutch border for a few kilometres here. You will make a crossing through the Beesels Broek, a damp alder and poplar forest. You will cycle through the hamlet of Rijkel, at the bank of the Maas you will pass the corn mill De Grauwe Beer. In Beesel you will see the nineteenth-century Sint-Gertrudiskerk.
