Your route starts at Brasserie Boscafé Floor. First you walk through the Majuba nature reserve, named by a previous owner after a mountain in South Africa. This is one of the rolling forest areas that are part of the wild game range, so you always have a chance to see big game here. Who knows, you might spot them from the Haelberg lookout tower, high on the Haelberg. From here you look out over the beautiful Eperholt nature reserve. You walk back across De Dellen, a 19th century estate that owes its fame mainly to the famous meteorologist Buys Ballot. He turned the vast heathlands into a park-like estate with a variety of forests, avenues and heathlands. The estate was the first purchase of the Geldersch Landschap in 1929.
