Alternative route Summer walk Hills around Maastricht

This is an alternative route in case of bad weather.

The start and finish will remain at the Chalet D'N Observant in Maastricht.

But are  the most dangerous pieces taken and you become

diverted via ´´safer´´ walking paths.

For example, the descent through the nature reserve on the east side of the Montagne Sant Pierre has been diverted via the Reu du Garage

And it is best to go up the Tenth Mountain via the Zusserdel and go down the hiking trail at the Canadian Monument ....

But don't go up/down the steep paths of the mountains in heavy rain/thunderstorms...

And don't walk on top of the plateau\\\'s in open spaces....

Hiding places Are after the start at the Chalet....

Several quarry entrances on the east side of the Montagne...

Museum Biotope de la Guizette west side Montagne ..

Various cafes  at the Statiestraat in Kanne

Chateau Neer Kanne...Cannerweg..

Apostelhoeve on top of the Louwberg.

Hoeve Nekum Nekermerweg in the Jekerdal.

Café Den Doolaard Mergelweg west side St. Pieter mountain

Country residence Slavante east side St. Pieter mountain.
