Yerseke and Kapelle

Interesting to know: in the third and fourth century this part of Zeeland did not yet exist and the area was under water. Special that you can now just cycle here! No wild nature in Zuid-Beveland, but neatly landscaped polders with tight arabable lands that are used for agriculture and fruit growing. On the peninsula between the Oosterschelde and Westerschelde, the battle of the rising waters has been won and the fertile land is gratefully cultivated. You start this cycle route at Zee-eterij De Viskeete in Yerseke. Here you can enjoy typical Zeeland snacks with a view of the harbor before or after your trip.
