Description
Restaurant & Boutique Hotel Amadeus is the starting point of this special route through the Gelders-Brabant river area. After a delicious meal, you get on the saddle and cross the Waal and Maas. You drive over the dike to Bokhoven where you experience a historic atmosphere around the Antonius Abtkerk. At Sluis Empel you cross the Máxima Canal, after which you cycle via Gewande to Alem. Here you pass a former hall church from 1719 and the Sint-Hubertus Church from 1873. After a break at Eetcafé Aan de Maas you drive on to Rossum. Here you make a pit stop at Bistro In Petto, after which you make a shortcut through the middle of the Bommelerwaard. Here you can enjoy the peace, the natural beauty and some charming villages, such as Delwijnen. The route ends in Wellseind.
