This is a great way to explore North Saxony. The cycle route is 280 km long and winds in the shape of an"M\\\" through the district of North Saxony. It starts in Leipzig and runs clockwise on the Elster Cycle Route to Schkeuditz, along the Green Ring Leipzig Cycle Route to Lake Schladitzsee, along the Coal Steam Light Cycle Route to Delitzsch and then on the Torgischer Cycle Route through Bad Düben to Torgau . The path then goes over the Elbe bridge and on the Elbe cycle path to the right of the Elbe to the Elbe crossing with the ferry to Belgern, continuing on the Elbe cycle path to Strehla and on the Mulde-Elbe cycle route to Oschatz. enthusiasts cycle part of the Döllnitztal cycle route via Mügeln to Wermsdorf, Dahlen to Schildau and from there on the Dahlener-Heide cycle route to Wurzen.
