Tour of Driebergen and Utrechtse Heuvelrug

This route takes you through Driebergen-Rijsenburg and the woods of National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug. You will pass the Sparrendaal Estate, which was built during the eighteenth century. Just outside the village you cycle past Landgoed De Horst, whose history dates back to the nineteenth century. You then cycle through Het Heihuis nature reserve, after which the route takes you through Boswachterij Austerlitz. You drive along a mix of coniferous and deciduous forests and heaths. A wonderful environment to switch back for a day. Further on you will pass through the picturesque surroundings of Slot Zeist. Back in Driebergen-Rijsenburg you cycle past the Heidetuin and Landgoed Kraaybeekerhof. A little further on you drive through the part of the Hoofdstraat that enjoys a protected village view. At Health Center Hoenderdaal you can grab a cozy terrace.
