Whichever direction you go: from Garderen you can cycle straight into the woods of the Veluwe. This route takes you first to the Boeschoterbos. What immediately stands out here: the tranquility. Ideal for a relaxing day. Just before junction 57 you will pass the Sheepfold of Boeschoten, which is home to a herd of Veluwe Heide sheep. Further on, drive through the Speulder and Sprielderbos, one of the oldest and most beautiful nature reserves in the Veluwe. It is known as the 'forest of the dancing trees', because only the straight trunks have been cut down. On the edge of the Ermelose Heide you have a beautiful view of the area. In the landscape you can still see the contours of the only Roman marching camp that the Netherlands has known. The route ends at Bakery Schreuder.
