Walking on the island of Tiengemeten

Experience life in and around the historic farms of the nature island of Tiengemeten. Taste the crops the way they used to be done and imagine yourself back in time as covered wagons pass you on their way to the Oude Polder. The east of the island gives you an idea of the 19th century small-scale agriculture. Fields and orchards are planted with vegetables and fruit. After a six-kilometre walk, you will arrive at Herberg Tiengemeten. An inn needs good food and drinks. This one is no exception. The way back to the ferry is another four kilometres. Also fun?
