Cycling between Zwolle and Heino

From the parking lot you cycle a bit along the city canal. You see some monumental buildings, on the other side of the water is the city park De Potgietersingel. South of the city you cycle over the Schellerberg estate, which is located on an old river dune. At junction 18 you can get off to enjoy the view over the IJssel at your leisure. A little later you come through the Zandhove Bos, along the bank of the Soestwetering you cycle into the Salland countryside. You pass the Colckhof estate, further on is the 't Rozendael estate. In Heino you pass the nineteenth-century church, the tower dates back to the fifteenth century. At Restaurant De Witte Gans you can enjoy a delicious meal, after which you cycle back to the historic center of Zwolle.
