The Brabant Sahara, as the Loonse and Drunense Duinen are also called. This route takes you through this national park, but also introduces you to the rural and natural surroundings of the villages of Haaren, Vught and Cromvoirt. The Loonse and Drunense Dunes form the largest area of living drifting sand in Europe. So feel free to dismount and take a good look at this unique sea of sand. When you drive into Giersbergen, you automatically stop and enjoy the unique atmosphere and old long-facade farms. A little further on you will pass Nemerlaer Castle, which was built in the thirteenth century.
