From the hamlet of Moorsel you can walk straight onto the Strabrechtse Heide. A nice walk through woods and heathland.
Strabrecht Heide
The route starts at Boscafé van Moorsel. Enjoy a drink here before you walk into the woods. You can walk at ease on beautiful paths between the fragrant conifers. What you will immediately notice is the silence! An ideal walk to forget the everyday routine and recharge the battery. Relax in Brabant style!
Birdwatching hut
At junction 57 you are suddenly on the edge of the Strabrechtse Heide. What a view! This is how large parts of North Brabant used to be. Further on you can turn right at a crossroads of paths. You will soon arrive at a bird hide on the Beuven: the largest fen in the Netherlands. You walk back through the woods to Boscafé Pastoorke Van Moorsel. Time for something delicious!
