Walking across the Strabrechtse Heide

On the Strabrechtse Heide you will find a mix of coniferous forests, fens and heathland. You can walk leisurely along beautiful paths between the fragrant pine trees and birches. After a while you suddenly find yourself on the edge of the Strabrechtse Heide. What a view! This is how large parts of North Brabant used to be. Just before junction 57 you will see a sign on the path that leads you to a bird watching hut on the Beuven. Take some time here to enjoy the silence. This is what you call relaxing in Brabant style. Further on you will pass the recreated Dennenlust Hiding Camp. At Boscafé van Moorsel you can enjoy a delicious meal on the cozy terrace. You can walk leisurely back to the end point through the woods.
