Walking on the Strabrechtse Heide

On the Strabrechtse Heide you will find a mix of coniferous forests, fens and heathland. You can walk at your leisure on beautiful paths between the fragrant pine trees and birch trees. After a while you will suddenly find yourself on the edge of the Strabrechtse Heide. What a view! This is how large parts of North Brabant used to look. Just before junction 57 you will see a sign on the path that leads you to a birdwatching hut at the Beuven. Take some time here to enjoy the silence. This is what you call slowing down in Brabant. Further on you will pass the reconstructed Dennenlust hiding camp. At Boscafé van Moorsel you can enjoy a delicious meal on the cozy terrace. You can walk back to the end point at your leisure through the forests.
