Description
Further on you drive along the edge of the low peat swamp De Moerputten, one of the nature reserves just outside the city of Den Bosch. A little further on you drive through the heart of Den Bosch with plenty of nice places to stop, such as the Noordbrabants Museum. Put your bike aside and stroll into the city to soak up the atmosphere. From here you cycle through the Bossche Broek, a restored swamp area. Just above Halder you have a beautiful view of the Dommel and Nieuw-Herlaer, a centuries-old castle on the other side. The Haanwijk Estate is also beautiful with a country house and old farms, stately trees and historic dikes.
